Prefitara

Prep note 1

What a research visit usually asks you to prepare

A screening or study visit often comes with a short list of things to bring and rules about eating. Knowing the common pattern makes the day less surprising.

The usual kit

Most teams ask for a photo ID, a list of current medicines and supplements, and any questionnaires they sent in advance. Some visits need insurance cards even when the study pays for research procedures.

Eating and activity rules

Some visits require fasting or skipping certain workouts. The instructions come from the study team, not from a general website.

Questions worth writing down

Ask how long the visit lasts, whether you can bring a friend, and what happens if a lab result is unexpected.

What we do not do

Prefitara does not schedule visits, screen anyone or give medical advice. The notes only describe how preparation is generally organized.

Prefitara is an information website, not a medical provider, research sponsor, study site, or recruiter. We never recruit for studies, arrange visits, or refer you to research sites, and we keep your details to ourselves. Treat every guide as general information rather than medical, legal, or financial advice.
