Do you tell me if I will qualify?
No. Eligibility is decided by the study team, not by this website.
Will you tell me if a study is safe?
No. We cannot judge any particular study. We explain what safeguards usually exist and what to ask the study team.
Are texts required?
No. Texts happen only if you opt in with one unchecked box. Sign-up works without it.
Do you answer questions about a medicine I take?
No. Ask your doctor or pharmacist. In an emergency call 911.
Are you a medical provider, study team or recruiter?
No. Prefitara does not act for any sponsor, hospital or research site, and the guides should not be read as medical, legal or financial advice.
How many texts will I get?
It varies, but never more than about 8 a month. Msg & data rates may apply.
Can I cancel the text messages?
Reply STOP to any text. Reply HELP for help. You can also email [email protected].
Can Prefitara book my screening visit?
No. Only the study team schedules visits. We explain how preparation is generally organized.
How do I stop emails?
Write to [email protected] or use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.
What happens after I sign up?
Plain-language educational notes on the topic you choose. Email is optional, and so are the short texts that link to the guides.
Which fields are required?
No. Leave the email, mobile and ZIP boxes empty if you like. We ask only for your name, a topic and agreement to the privacy terms.
Will my details go to a drug company?
No. They never go to sponsors, manufacturers, research sites or recruiters. For the details, read the Privacy Policy.
Can you connect me with a study team?
No. We do not make introductions or referrals to sponsors, sites or recruiters.
