The people behind Prefitara
Prefitara began as a checklist one editor kept rewriting for friends who were nervous about a first research visit.
Each note sticks to preparation, not medical advice, and ends with questions to bring to the study team.
What we do not do
We stay out of the recruiting side: no enrollment, no study matching, no medical advice, and no sharing your information with anyone who wants your participation.
Prefitara is published by The Nelson M Group LLC. It is an educational website only. We are not a medical provider, sponsor, study site or recruiter.
How the guides are made
Our editorial team at The Nelson M Group LLC drafts every Prefitara guide using broadly shared sources, for example federal research-participation publications from the NIH and FDA and the plain-language guides large teaching hospitals publish. A review month appears on each page, and we re-check everything at least once a year.
